Since Smokinghotcoffee was established in 2007, we have covered a wide variety of topics with themes ranging from music to politics. We have dealt with some of the more serious social issues, such as cyberbullying and assisted suicide, as well as taking a look at some of the arts and culture stories that have dominated the media or been overlooked.
In 2010, the website passed the 1 million hits mark, a landmark we never thought possible. Our aim is to provide commentary on the issues of the day in a fair and balanced way. While at times there may be a hint of bias, we will always highlight it so as to ensure clarity. Since we reached 1 million hits, we went from a 'blogger' site to purchasing the domain http://smokinghotcoffee.org, with a view to developing a fully interactive website. It will take some time to develop, but we are really looking forward to what lies ahead in the future for the site.
