If you are a fellow blogger here on...blogger. You might be aware that as a part of the site's 10th Anniversary, they have released a bunch of gifts and gadgets to mark the occasion.
One gadget I want to bring your attention to is the
SocialVibe gadget which allows you to pick a charity/non-governmental organisation and support them on your site. By clicking in the box, usually located in the right-side column of the page, you enter a link for the given charity. Then, it literally 30 seconds of extra-site activity and you, the reader, will have contributed to a cause. Each of the charities is sponsored by a business or otherwise and therefore, this is legit. It's not like 99% of the Facebook causes where someone, while bringing attention to a cause, may not be literally helping. Also, I know some of them are just bogus time wasting activities with no goal in mind. The SocialVibe movement however, is different. It actually does work.

So, next time you now, and whenever you open this site, please click on my SocialVibe cause:
Stand Up 2 Cancer. I chose it because, like everyone of you, I know and have known people suffering with cancer and would like nothing more than to see more and more progress in the research field.
If you have a blog, get
SocialVibe on yours. You aren't confined to promoting Stand Up 2 Cancer; there are dozens of charities you can sponsor and promote on your blog. So, whichever cause means the most to you, get their gadget on your blog and encourage your friends/readers/followers to start clicking.
